Daniel Meier was born in 1992 in Herford, Germany. After finishing his A-levels, he studied Visual Design at the University of Applied Sciences Hamm-Lippstadt, Interaction Design at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück and Graphic Design at the OfG between 2012 and 2017. After graduating, he went freelance as a designer. After numerous projects in the cultural sector and some major clients, he now works as a freelance art director in the field of social design. In addition to his work as a designer, Daniel Meier has been a freelance lecturer since 2018 and gives workshops in Poster Design both locally and worldwide. Since 2021 he works as an associate professor for Poster Design and Graphic Design for example at Designschule Schwerin, Freie Schule für Gestaltung Hamburg, iu International University and Diploma Hochschule. His posters have been awarded and exhibited around the world. For instance in Poland, Spain, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea, China, Peru, Iran and in the United States. Known for his minimalist style, his works impress with intelligence and a sense of humor.
